Neo-Nostalgia: Selected Works

This space serves as an ongoing record of paintings produced by Curt J Clugston from his studio in Whitefish, Montana. These works attempt to document the spirit and the nostalgia of everyday people, places, and things. This output also reflects his transition from a technical career (engineering, drafting, process) to a dedicated practice in oil painting and mix media.

 

Each entry represents a conscious experiment in process, style, color theory, composition, and/or subject.  This collection is not primarily a means to commerce, but rather a reflective history of images and their emotional content.  That said, if you see anything you would love to have, let me know!
